 Our Story

After 20 years in a successful corporate career, stylist Nicole Demos made the risky decision to leave the safety of the business world and pursue her passion for helping women explore their creativity, individuality, and personal style through fashion. With that lofty ambition in mind, Arielle Clothing was born in 2004.

Located in the pretty Sydney harbourside village of Rose Bay, Nicole has nurtured Arielle Clothing from its humble beginnings to become a style destination for women who appreciate high quality, eclectic and timeless pieces from around the world – all delivered with Nicole’s signature personal touch and eye for detail.

During the store’s 16-year history, Nicole has developed a comprehensive and intimate understanding of her clients’ needs – a woman who is happy to travel to the beat of her own drum and embraces her uniqueness through personal style rather than disappearing into a sea of fashion sameness. She appreciates beautifully crafted, ethically made clothing that feels good, looks great and is kind to the planet. She believes in “slow” fashion, investment dressing and a timeless aesthetic, and understands the transformative power of a well styled outfit. It is this detailed understanding that informs Nicole’s every decision when choosing new collections for Arielle.

Whether it is a one-off “wow factor” piece, quality basics or a seasonal capsule wardrobe, Nicole’s aim is to make sure each client leaves with a smile on their face and a purchase that makes them feel happy, satisfied and uplifted.

In 2022, Nicole was ready to take her “little store in Rose Bay” to the next level and created an online store as an extension of the warmth and expertise that is a signature of her bricks and mortar store. And while it is difficult to replicate the same instore experience online, Nicole hopes her new online clients will feel the same sense of specialness she has worked so hard to create in store.

Arielle Clothing’s carefully curated collection includes much loved labels such as Hale Bob, AG Jeans and Desigual, to new, buzzworthy style-meisters such as Devotion Twins from Greece, Bypias from Finland and Germany’s Funky Staff. Nicole is constantly on the lookout for new and wonderful labels from around the globe to add to her style family so keep an eye out for new additions!
